Welcome to the homepage of the Thunderbird Robotics Team at the University of British Columbia.
The UBC Thunderbird Robotics Team was started in 2004 by students, faculty, staff, and members of the community at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, with the goal of researching and building autonomous vehicles and robots. The team is working on several projects, including a robotic soccer team, a space elevator, and a lunar excavator.
We are a nonprofit research group funded by the generous donations of our sponsors.
