  • Electric Car Club

    The goals of the Electric Car Club are to build an electric car to be showcased in Vancouver during Winter Olympics 2010, and to compete in the World Zero Emission Race and circumnavigate the earth by travelling around the world in 80 days.

  • Snowbots

    Snowbots is a fleet of small autonomous vehicles based on a 1/12 scale remote-controlled car chassis. These vehicles are intended to compete in the Robot Racing Challenge hosted by the University of Waterloo, and also serve as a development platform for larger vehicles.

  • Thunderbots

    The mission of UBC Thunderbots is to build a team of fully autonomous robots that can participate in RoboCup competition. Robocup is an internationally recognized event attended by hundreds of academic and commercial institutions where teams of autonomous robots compete in a soccer match.

  • TREAD

    The goal of TREAD is to build a autonomous robotic excavator capable of competing in the 2009 NASA Regolith Excavation Challenge, a competition sponsored by NASA with the hopes of accelerating the development of future technologies that will be necessary for space exploration.
